I started racing in 1985. My first race was at Cadwell park on an RS125. I did that for a few years then retired from racing for a while. I did a bit of BMX racing and won the British BMX championships and then the motorcycle bug bit again. I raced motocross for many years and progressed to the British Championships. I started Supermoto racing in 2002, again progressing to British Championships level, and rode the odd GP and European round.
I also competed in the British Hill Climb Championships and in 2011 I became the British Hill Climb Champion. I started racing at Aberdare Park in the Supermoto class in 2008, winning many races and lap records. I converted to road racing in 2016. My first race at the park last year was in the Super Twin classes and Welsh Open. I reached the top 5 in the Twin Class and qualified for the final of the Welsh open and 50cc class. In 2018 I won the Lightweight Class and finished in the top 5 in the Twin Class. This year I will be riding for the DSR Midlife Classics Race Team on Derek Smith’s SW650.
